2020: Year of the Virtual Graduation

To the class of 2020, graduation may be virtual but your accomplishments are so very real.

You’re graduating into the most trusted profession in the midst of a pandemic, and during the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife. And you’re graduating from the No. 1 school of nursing! You’re meant to be nurses who lead, because as keynote speaker Rep. Lauren Underwood says, “We don’t have the luxury of waiting for someone else to step up.”

Who knew that “The Year of the Nurse and Midwife” meant we’d be tested? Well, it’s time to show the world what Hopkins Nurses are capable of. As Rep. Underwood says, “Your clinical skills are only the *beginning* of what you have to offer.”
